We prove what's real rather than identify what's fake

About

We support news organizations with the tools and strategies to make visual journalism verifiable, transparent, and trustworthy.

Newsroom partnerships

We work with newsrooms to build end-to-end provenance workflows, from the moment an image is captured to the moment it reaches the audience. We provide publishing tools, training and workshops to journalists and editors, and assistance transitioning to a C2PA-compliant DAM/CMS ecosystem.

Open-source technology

We’re developing a set of open-source media provenance tools for news consumers and newsroom staff. Our tools include an audience-facing interface that surfaces easy-to-understand content credentials within published articles, as well as a dedicated C2PA verification tool for staff to inspect, understand, and verify the full history of images or videos.

    Nora Savosnick

    Co-founder, Visual Journalist

Nora Savosnick (b. 1996) is a visual journalist whose work focuses on humanitarian crises and conflict coverage. Growing up in Oslo as the granddaughter of a Jewish Holocaust survivor, Nora was deeply impacted by the realization that the Nazis had captured most images from Auschwitz during the war. This realization fueled her determination to ensure that perpetrators never control the visual narrative and to challenge the authenticity of journalists. Her work has taken her to report on conflicts in Ukraine, Haiti, Israel, and the Palestinian territories, while also covering politics across the United States.

In addition to her fieldwork, Nora gave a TEDx talk in 2023 and received the Reuters scholarship for visual journalism at the International Center of Photography in 2018.

Currently based in New York, her work has been published in publications such as The New York Times, Reuters, Aftenposten, Aftonbladet, among others.
